The lighting and the body language, makes me curious about the circumstances (I haven’t seen the film, “Chungking Express”)
The embrace of the two, the lighting was done with all natural available light from the candles, the vibrancy of the colours!
6.63 “Shanghai Express” The lighting mainly caught my attention in this still, to me this is the essence of the Film Noir female, she looks proud, and the capture of the smoke in this still is aesthetically beautiful.
11.85: Amazing lighting, really keen to recreate this!
